The sunflowers program is differentiated to meet the developmental needs of 3 and 4 year olds. We focus on supporting the children’s sense of belonging and strive to build strong relationships in order to support them to communicate in their world.

The experiences planned support :

• the foundation of children’s social and emotional capactiy, skills & regulation

• fine & gross motor skills

• early pre-literacy skills - e.g. phonological awareness activities (listening, rhyming, etc)

• early pre-numeracy skills - e.g. big ideas about number
